Amplified

Amplified was created by Ardie and Raven with a vision of making the island of Mindanao be heard all over the country through its music. Amplified’s band instruments became functional in 2003 comprised by six members coming from different indie bands in Cagayan de Oro City. Each band member derived their inspiration from their loved ones and musical influences. The band members were Ardie and Raven (vocalists), Ralph Noel (lead guitarist), Junjun (bassist), Mckoy (rythym guitarist), and Dandan (drummer), each one of them had already made back to back performances from their former bands with some of the country’s established music artists such as Bamboo, Six Cycle Mind, Parokya Ni Edgar, Wolfgang, The Dawn, Orient Pearl, Southborder, Side A, Freestyle, MYMP, Skychurch, Urbandub, Slapshock, Greyhounds, Chicosci, Barbies Cradle, Drizzle and others.

Amplified was driven by its passion to manifest its social relevant concerns through its contemplative lyrical drive.

We have worked hard to gather here the music of Filipinos everywhere. The composers and artists, the gifted musicians and talented technicians, the lumads and expatriates, the balladeers and rockers and crooners and rappers.

Feel free to look around. You may not find Goo Goo's or Gaga's, but chances are you'll see - and hear - something you like or have been missing. And keep on coming back as we will be adding new material often!
